Quelf

You might be asking yourself what in the world is Quelf?  Quelf is a crazy board game.  I bought it for a housemate of mine for Christmas and we have played it a few times since then.  Last night's game was epic!  I had a tie on.  My housemate was dressed with toilet paper to look like a mummy.  She also had a pretend snorkel and wasn't allowed to bend her knees or elbows.  My brother was forced to build a fort and stay in it for a certain amount of time.   While many other crazy things happened during the course of the game what made it epic was the ultimate magic trick.  The trick was gravity defying until the upside down glass filled with water pushed back on the piece of cardboard holding it all together.  The water of course drenched the cards, the board game, the hardwood floor, the wood table, the chairs and of course the humans.

Day 6

So I want to apologize because I realize that this post might not make everyone feel good.  I have started a new habit every morning of looking outside at my car to see if I have to scrape the frost off of my windows.  I check as soon as the alarm sounds.  I want to know if I have to get up that very moment or if I can hit snooze one or maybe two more times.  Well, when I looked outside I got so excited I forgot that I could hit snooze because it was snowing!!!  It was so beautiful.  The snow was featherlight and falling so slowly.  It was one of those magic snowfalls that bring anticipation and excitement for Christmas and Snow Days!
