Winter is Here

It was on Tuesday when I left school at about 4:50pm that I noticed that it wasn't dark yet.  It was the first day that I noticed that the days are really getting longer.  I don't think I ever noticed a change this early in the year before.  This change has helped me stay positive during these cold winter days. Winter is here but Spring is coming!

 

 

 

 

Sledding

I went sledding today!  It was great to act like a kid and enjoy the snow!

 

 

 

 

Let it snow ...

My brother and I decided that we needed a video game day.  We found out early in the day that there were other jobs that must be finished before the video game day could happen.  It wasn't until the evening that we were finally able to sit down to play.  He turned on the Wii.  I turned on the fireplace, grabbed a blanket and half watched him play his game.  The snow was falling so gently outside.  It was a perfect winter moment.  Safe, cozy and warm enjoying video games and reading books while the snow continued to fall.

Day 2

In the moments before I needed to leave the house I couldn't find my mittens. It was cold I wanted my mittens so I scrambled everywhere looking for them.  As I started to give up I put my hands in my pockets and there they were waiting for me!  It was so great.
