Falling Rain in January

The last couple of years I have lived in a basement apartment.  It wasn't until I moved into a house that I realized that I have really missed the sound of the wind and the rain on the roof.  Tonight I get to fall asleep to the lullaby of the rain. 

 

 

 

 

Grandpa

This was kind of a sad day. A year ago Saturday my Grandpa fell.  He ended up in the hospital and never came out.  He died a few weeks later.  It was a little bit of a tough day.  I remember where I was when we heard the news.  It was hard to find happy things on this day. 

So on this day I remember the happy memories I had with my Grandpa.  Miss you!

If I thought I was sick with a cold on Sunday I was sadly mistaken.  I am for sure hit with a cold this morning.  The stuffy nose, sore throat, and lack of voice have all made an appearance this morning.  I have been awake for probably a half an hour and I have drank a pint of water and a cup of chicken noodle soup.  I hope high fluids will knock this baby out of the park. So what could be a moment of happiness on this early and sick Tuesday morning?  NeoCitran!!!  I love it way too much and only allow myself to have it when I am sick with a cold. I am going to enjoy it this morning!
